Here mine when i first install it.
Ah broken into so you mean someone is stealing my exhaust? haha. Couple of things: 1) it was snowing that day and its been very cold here in NY so the system sounds a bit raspier when it's cold, 2) I literally just had it installed an hour before that video so yes it is still breaking in and 3) the mic on my camera is crap so it makes everything sound hollow and tinny. In person the exhaust sounds amazing and not raspy at all. Once the motor and exhaust get up to temperature any "raspy ness" is gone and its just that clean deep bassy sound from the straight 6. I saw the install myself as I was under the car while it was on the lift as they did the install and believe me the clamps are tight.

Intake doesn't make a huge difference but I figured I'd keep all in the family with OEM+ stuff. Plus if the car is breathing out better its got to breathe in better as well. I'm figuring about 238 horses and probs 210 lb. ft. Works for me since I like NA engines a lot.

Why are you doing PE to 335is? I'm pretty sure the oem 335is exhaust muffler is extremely similar if not the exact same as the Performance Exhaust

They are different. My friend's N54 335 with PE is much louder than my 335is exhaust. I will be making a video comparing both.

I have the BMW Performance Exhaust on my 2013 E92 335i and I absolutely love it. It sounds great. Good purchase.

So how long is the break-in period before the exhaust is at the point where it won't sound any different? Or is this something where it's alllllways getting better with time?

Alen, no problem my man, I'm so intrigued by it! It's an ambitious and unusual project and I like it

Duck, break-in is probably 500 miles or so and the noise becomes deeper and more baritone with age. Now it's not nearly as fancy as the super-overpriced Inconel system from the M3, but it's a more authentic sound (I think so anyway, I prefer inline 6 to the V8, but hey I'm crazy so yeah...)

235/35 & 275/30.

Thanks.

You have the Perf. Intake? Flat filter right? Try the eurobox with the cone filter. It'll add more depth to low and high end revs.
