FS: Black BBS CH 19x8.5 ET35 | 19x10 ET20

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Up for sale are BBS CH rims in black. I bought these from another forum member and got screwed (will get to that in a bit). I spent countless hours looking on the forum to see if they will fit but these are just not going to work. I've had these for over 6 months now. *I apologize for the lengthy FS thread but I don't want anyone to purchase something different than what they were thinking.

Front:
19x8.5 ET35 with 235/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports (have about 75 miles on them) TPMS is installed on them with OEM sensors.
Rear:
19x10 ET20 *Doesn't have tires (You can put 265/30/19 or 275/30/19) ... concave as f*ck! Doesn't have TPMS (lost them when the rear tires were taken off)

They come with the center caps picture is below.

Has never been cracks or bends in these rims. There are some blemishes and scratches on the rim that will be shown in the pictures below.

The reason I'm selling it I just can't get these to work on an XI platform. I don't want to stretch the rear tires and then have a difference in rolling from front and rear of >%1.

If you're not going to power coat them read below:

When I purchased these tires I was told they were all black, unfortunately they came to me with only the faces black, behind the spokes was still in the original silver of the rims. So yes, the face of the rims were powercoated a glossy black. I originally wanted to powercoat the insides but no company was willing to do just the insides (or as one guy said, "a partial rim job" ) and I wasn't paying $800 to powercoat them. I ended up sanding the insides getting primer and painting them myself with Rustoleum wheel painter 3 coats.

The rims came out good. The inside of the rims aren't glossy like the face of the rim but With a layer of brake dust on the insides, no rims are.

The bad: To be straight forward about it, if a tire is put on or off the rim the paint will come off the back of the rim. It CANNOT be see unless you're looking under the car. Also, if the weights are taken off the rims it will show of primer under it and the rear rims that have no tires still have them on from the 265's I had on. If you have the money or know a shop that can do for cheap then I highly suggest doing that.

The first two pictures are of them on my car test fitting them. My car is lowed on H&R coilovers. Here is also a thread with the same rear rim size.

Center caps (wheels are a bit dusty from trying to get them to work for so long):

Yes the wheels are very dusty

Price:
I'm looking to pickup a less aggressive set of BBS CH from another forum member so I'm looking to move these fast. I'm open to offers to move these but please don't low ball. I feel like the price below is fair but I haven't seen another set of rims with the same issue, that being the paint.

Looking to get $1000 shipped

$850 local (Phoenix, AZ)

Also, if you don't want the front tires I can do $750 shipped and will still include the front TPMS.

Make me an offer!

Not to hijack this, so 20 offset is the problem on the xi?

i believe its 8.5 width to 10inch width through xi which is bad for the transmission

I would have to run a stretched tire to get it to work. Like a 255 which would means there is >1% difference in how fast the front and rear tires spin.

you can do a 265s like I had but your car can't be lowered and it might still rub. People that have the same size rears have 245 or 255's in the rear with some negative camber.

My new BBS CH setup is the exact spec as yours, 19x10 +20. Except my fronts are a little different in offset, 19x8.5 +20. The tires I'm running are 265/30/19 and 235/35/19 Hankook V12. I have no problem driving with them, no camber adjustments, no rubbing, rolled fenders fixed the problem.

Thanks for the input

I'm going to go with a more conservative setup myself.
