Nonetheless, as the other poster pointed out, it's possible even without having perfectly parallel surfaces to use clamps, which still seems easier than what you're talking about. I would think there might even be some clamps that can adjust to non parallel surfaces too. |

Just tried to do my own photoshoot with my new lip. Here's my pathetic attempt (tips welcome!). I think the lip actually looks ok from a distance! hahaha. I will still try to fix the gaps this weekend.

I would just suggest photo editing out your license plate. Just put a dark gray or black square over it, or put your "go topless" plate on...

Finally got around to buying more 3m tape to decrease those gaps. I decided the side gaps are a lost cause which I will write off due to poor fitment. But for the front, I was able to pry off the lip a bit, just enough to apply more 3m tape. Then I shoved a very heavy box (of my old springs) under the lip to push the lip upwards against the bumper. The gaps are reduced a bit now. I'll see how well this worked tomorrow.

You mean the part where it says "A TV Tara Production"? Or when you do the time-lapse of the roof closing?

What, do you mean the part where you crashed trough garage doorVideo ended before that. Just kidding nice informative videos. I hope your extra tape will hold it. If you had to force the gap closed. There is change that it will eventually get loose again. Funny thing is my 3d style front lip has no tape, screws, or glue. It stays on the bumper and wont fall off.
