Nice vid. I have really cheap suggestion mod for you. Paint the front bumper lower mesh grill black on your car. It will look really good with your black kidney grills.

That was actually a really well done video. The editing, process shots, and even corny "tutorial music" was excellently executed. Nice work!

+1 very simple and makes it look way better. If you plan to research this, I suggest you not paint it with a paint brush like some will suggest. I tried it and it didn't work out so well. I was going to remove the grills and spray paint them but it's too much of a pain without removing the bumper. I ended up masking up the bumper and putting a bag through the mesh to cover over spray from getting into the ducts and just plastdipped it.

Funny story- I tried my first reflector swap with my E92 328 and broke the shit out of the OEM ones, leaving half the reflector behind.

That was before I realized it was adhesive and I needed to heat them....duh.

Where the hell were you two years ago Tara??

Thanks for doing these kinds of videos- you're helping out the community so much!

Yeah, I'd plastidip it. Thanks for the tips! That's awesome!

Just buy OEM 328 ones. They work perfect. And if you ever want to switch back...

Cool, but my key words were "super cheap"

Ah, thanks. I was so annoyed removing the old reflector that I just wanted to stick the new one on right away! Hahaha

Hahahhaa, no I will not. But the brands I use are Mac, L'Oreal and Maybelline I'm sure that's very useful info on this forum.

I like your idea of the heat gun...lol... it will definitely make the removal process a little more easier, I have seen a video install that just use only a flat head screw driver.

Cool video! What's next? Perhaps doing something with interior trims?

If you don't mind eBay ones, creativemotoring sells the painted reflectors.
