Exclamation Installing 3" AR Downpipe to stock exhaust

Does installing the 3" AR downpipe to the stock exhaust create any leaks, or more importantly does it bolt right up without any mods?

lines up perfect, no leaks. sounds great IMO, i prefer the stock exhaust with catless dp's over most other exhaust notes

This is how I run on my car Great sound.

Make sure you use the new gaskets that come with the DPs and there should be no issues.

thanks for the quick reply. I would of thought that from the 3" to the stock there would be diameter size difference when aligning the mating flange together.

3" pipes all taper to the 2.5" exhaust flange.

I am thinking to get the AR dp. Anyone can let me know how much time the labor takes?
Thank you!

If a shop has done DPs on this car before its about 1.5 - 2 hour job, so priced accordingly to shop rate.

I performed this install couple of days ago, sounds awesome very subtle yet distinctive

1st time took about 1.5hrs, everything lines up perfectly.

Make sure to use new gaskets, using old gaskets could lead to a potential leak.

Yep,
All of our downpipes come with new Bomb-Proof Gaskets as well as zinc plated hardware so you don't have to worry about that.

Hey Chris, I was browsing trough your site and noticed you don't offer AR brand exhausts, will this change in the future?

btw
the nord lock washers are awesome!

I'm pretty sure they carry the AE system. That's the one I'd recommend with AR dps

Good luck getting AE exhaust... apparently they are sold out nationwide and they are coming out with a new version that has a catback split plus adjustable tips... and a $600 increase in price! So, I am buying Vangaurd lol.
