Our dryer has a failsafe that will keep it from starting if the lint buildup gets too bad. Still lights up and all so that may be what yours is doing. We had to take it apart and vacuum it all out once and then it was good to go again. If it starts but doesn't get hot it is probably the heating element.

Start with the thermal fuse. If you have a multimeter you can ohm it out and see if its blown. Could also be a broken door switch. Or broken drive belt that turns the drum.
Start with those. Dryer repair is pretty simple if you are handy. Not much to them.

Please unplug it first! 220V is no joke.
