Diff install parts
My diff makes a humming sound so I am swapping it out for a fresh one. I will have to remove the muffler, unbolt the driveshaft (have the tool), and L/R output shafts (ordered E10 socket). Are any of the diff bolts or exhaust seals in there one time use? Its an fully assembled differential so I dont need to worry about any of the internal seals. I did put in fresh SAF-XJ.

You will need a "thin walled" 52mm wrench to get off #6 in that first diagram. Someone posted this link along time ago... here is the wrench you need for only $27 off of Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003NSC7R0/...=I4A85WAHB3SOA I would also change your diff fluid after 1K miles. Also don't do any hard launches or top speed runs until your new diff is broken in. BMW says not to exceed 170 kph for the first 2K kms. You might also want to replace the (rubber) "flex disc" up front between the trans output shaft and the drive shaft. Its also called a "quibo" disc. Dackel
