How about you but the sway bar and springs and I'll buy the rest?

I would, but I was going to get #400/#700 springs when I was going to buy my DAs in about a month.

No reason to buy twice when I'm getting that spring rate with the kit.

Why don't you want that spring rate?

I'm pretty sure you can buy a DA kit without springs from TCK. For a daily driver I want something softer like 300/550 or 300/600.

This is why you get DAs and go full soft

And if I'm going to pay $3k (I am lucky because I get taxed) I'd rather just have everything new

Why spend $3K on DA's? DA's are overkill.

I am offering the SA's, which should satisfy the street/track needs of most, at a fraction of the above quoted price.

Highly disagree.

I'm building my 128 to become a nationally competitive SCCA STX car and eventually a NASA TTD car.

I've driven on SAs, I've driven on DAs...the difference in incredible.

To each their own, but the extra money is worth it.

GLWS, it will satisfy 99% of people on this forum.

These look different than what's on tck site? Are these the older versions? Is the rear adjustable without removing them? I was reading somewhere that the older "yellow" ones are unable to adjust without removal. I could be 100% wrong though.

Well having that info would certainly have changed my answer. Then yes, I agree, for your purposes the DA's make more sense and the SA kit will satisfy the other 99% out there...

The picture on TC Kline's website may be a "stock" photo and not representative of the actual product.

The rears are adjustable by turning the shock body itself. Instructions included.

Don't recall but when I installed a similar kit on a friend's subie, we just had to cut out small piece of trim to access the adjusters and that's if you want to adjust on the fly. Else you set it once and throw them in. But keep in mind this is not a TCK/Koni-specific issue, all coilovers are like this unless you have external reservoirs and those systems run north of $3000

Which is exactly why I purchased the DAs personally.
