Cobb / Throttle mapping / hard to get smooth moderate acceleration / on/off switch

I find it very hard to get smooth moderate acceleration. The car was D mode and I have the stock trans flash on the logs posted below. Throttle mapping is pretty close to standard.

In the first log, we can see my accelerator pedal position is pretty darn steady but the TPS is all over the place as the car goes through the gears. It feels like the car is rocking back and forth while accelerating. My intention was to maintain steady and moderate acceleration in this first log.

The second log was me intentionally trying to move the pedal in and out as little as possible, to see its affect on TPS. Its as if there is an on/off switch between 25% TPS and 75% TPS with no resolution in between. This jump in TPS results from literally a 3% change in pedal position.

I'd prefer not to just use linear throttle as I'm not sure that is the solution and I tried it and the car felt dulled down. I think I need some sort of hybrid mapping with the initial tip in of standard throttle with it then being linear from 30% accelerator position to 100% but I'm not sure.

Also, I feel like the transmission takes its cues from the TPS and then it becomes reluctant to downshift with the OTS linear throttle. Also, I've tried Alpina flash and hated D mode so I'd like to leave that off the table as a possible solution.

Any suggestions? Is this normal? Or if anyone has a tweaked out throttle mapping table that they use for Cobb on their AT car, that they think is perfect please share it.

going to have to DIY for the throttle response you are looking for. in ATR the tables throttle angle (wot), requested torque and wgdc(base) have the biggest factor on throttle response and drivability. if youre not comfortable modifying your map then request a custom tune.

I had the PTF guys adjust my throttle in between linear and stock just the way I like it.

I see you have one of our maps listed in your mods list. Simply get in touch with Jake or Dz and they will work with you on mapping the throttle to suite your needs.

Thanks Allen. I actually just emailed Jake. I'm a tweaker at heart and like to "turn the knobs". Sometimes I mess around in ATR, but I generally always end up going back to you guys as your the pros. I appreciate the ongoing support.

can someone post the 1M throttle map? I run alpina flash and OFT and use more % in each column for throttle which has helped a lot, I wonder how close/far it is from the 1M scaling
