not sure if i would grow tired of the red after 2 weeks or so. anyone with input??
Well from what I've seen in the forums, everyone who transitioned from black interior to coral red really liked their new interior. I agree with you on the black interior, for my previous bmw i had a black interior but I've seen my friends red interiors in person and i always got jealous lol. It will be fine because black is also mixed with the red.

But in my opinion, I know the g37's dont offer red interior, but black with red trim, which is always good. BUT if you have any doubt or regret in your mind about the red interior, dont get it cause you will never regret a black interior

wish they didn't extend the red all the way through to the dashboard, pushes it over the line into overkill IMO.

still sexy though, 50/50 split LOL

I want anthracite trim with Coral red, where can I get it? hahah..anyone successful in swapping trims and in the first place 'finding one'.

I think anthracite with coral red will look way better than dark burl, if the wood is the way to go.

yeah i feel you on that, too bad they dont have that trim option, that's why i opted for the aluminum hexagon, the dark burl does not go that well with red because it's not as dark as the anthracite trim

Think I am going to have buyer's remorse now once the car arrives. I saw it in person but the wood grain did not look old school. Now i see some other pics and it looks horrendous..

Contemplating getting the M-performance Trim and swapping it out. More money

You have to see it in person, sit in a car to appreciate a difference. Also, make sure do it outside in a bright sun, you won't be driving inside buildings

The anthracite wood looks really awesome in bright light, you can see a fine grain and grey tones that work really well with black dashboard, unlike burl, which is dark and brown.

Red trim throughout the dashboard looks good with black seats, however with red seats it's overkill.

Aluminum, I already commented before, gets too much reflection back to the windshield, that's why you need to see a car outside under a bright sun to see if you OK with it.

Also, aluminum as well as burl add a distinctive 3rd color, I much rather prefer a 2-tone approach black/grey with red.

I think burl works well with black seats and may be even with brown saddle; light wood (not available) works well with light seats like Oyster and Venitian
