Help me code EBT? Boston area

2014 328, just driving around WITH NO EBT!
How is a guy supposed to stream Spotify without EBT? It's madness.

Anyway, as far as I can tell on the forums, this is just a coding issue - and I don't have the ability to do that myself. Can anyone help out here? Will buy the beers.

Haha not Food Stamps - "Extended Bluetooth" is what I've seen this referred to as...

Seems like the basic bluetooth is coded 6NH, and to stream bluetooth audio you "simply" need to "recode" to 6NK....?

I can explain how or do it remotely if you can get it setup.

Can this be done on an 09? I would love bluetooth audio streaming but I thought it was a limit of hardware capacity on my 09

anyone know?

My understanding is that older cards (pre 2014/2013) DO have hardware limitations, so you'll need to check exactly what you have... That being said, I'm clearly not an authority, but it seems like the newer cars all have the proper hardware and just a bunch of software stuff locked down.

Thanks for the offer ! I don't have the necessary equipment though - OBD computer, etc.
