Great job,..... you probably did almost exactly what i wanted to do for my e92. therefore, a great preview of whats to come.

(including the rubber mats and pedals)

btw, did you sell your m-tech wheels? (and the shifter!!) i'm looking to upgrade from my sports to m-tech.

and how does the rubber mats and aluminum pedals feel?

The goal was to keep it OEM but make it sportier and more unique. I especially wanted to create some contrast. Not that I ever thought it was bad looking to begin with.

Here is a list of things I did (all OEM):
-BMW Performance:
---Electric alcantara steering wheel V2
---E-brake, alcantara boot
---Alcantara shift boot
---Aluminum pedals
-Brushed aluminum trim kit
-'Euro' split armrest (giant PITA to install in an E92)
-E46 'ZHP' weighted shift knob
-Rubber floor mats, carpeted on drivers' side
-Added Logic7 tweeter to dash mid-range (not visible)

All ordered from Tischer/getBMWParts. I am very happy with these upgrades and would recommend any/all of them. My favorites are the aluminum trim, Performance pedals, and split armrest.

Thanks for the compliment.

I have the M-tech bits - steering wheel, handbrake/boot, and shifter/boot. PM me if you're interested. I was planning to list them for sale, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The rubber OEM mats (I have the one where the driver side mat has the carpeted heel pad) are nice and flexible plus look good. They are cheap too. I highly recommend them.

I also recommend the Performance aluminum pedals. They're one of my favorite upgrades. They are ever so slightly higher than the factory pedals. They have more grip than the stock pedals. Plus they look badass.

How do you like the performance steering wheel?

Is it worth it?

Do u regret giving up your small m steering wheel?

Also armrest more comfortable?

The steering wheel is a unique upgrade. Mostly form over function though the electronic features are quite convenient on the track. If I didn't go to the track, I think the regular version would make more sense (and even now, even though it's ridiculously cool, I think the non-electric version makes more sense from a financial perspective). If you have a non M-sport steering wheel I think it would be a worthwhile upgrade. It's something you'll feel every time you are in the car.

The split armrest is a nice mod, yes the slide forward feature makes it more comfortable (especially on long drives). I did a 2-hr trip today and was grateful for the extra support.

Still got it. Generally I try to keep parts I replace.

Looks good; I may emulate your interior soon. I just need a BMW Performance Steering wheel and aluminum trim to match yours; I'm going to be using the BMW Performance shift knob.
