If that picture was a front tire, then your rears are probably toast. Milage for any given tire varies with the car, driver, road conditions, make and model of each tire - so no one can tell you how many miles YOU will get on YOUR tires. I suggest you:

1. Buy a tread depth gauge.

2. Check the tread at various places on each tire.

3. Definitely replace when a tire is below 2/32".

4. If you persist in doing U-turns on wet roads at 25~35 mph, replace tires at 4/32" or less.

5. Try not to drive on wet roads - even with the new tires.

so question i want to ask is , is this the correct time to replace tires ? / what is the normal time/ miles expected from tire ? / when did you change tires ?

Time is just as important as mileage for tires, after 5 years, rubber starts to change...
