Brembo GT: How often are rebuilds needed?

For the last 3 years, I've run a Alcon monoblock BBK on my A4, year-round + 12 track days + 2-day winter school. It's still going strong and I've never had any maintenance except pad swaps and brake fluid changes.

Now, shopping for BBKs for the E92 and I'm reading about how the Brembo GT-R is mainly better in the reduced frequency of rebuilds. So, approximately how often do the Gran Turismo calipers actually need rebuilding and how does one know when to do this maintenance?

BTW, I only drive the M3 in the summer. So its brakes will not be subjected to sand or salt.
