Unmuffled Trackday at Lime Rock Park by IMG

Just a heads up to guys in the Northeast area looking for track days, etc. The Independent Motorsports Group (IMG) is hosting a track day on Memorial Day Monday 5/28/2012 at Lime Rock Park (it's an UNMUFFLED day!) There is HPDE/TT, and for racers, the Sprint Races (and their new series ETC European Touring Car):

www.saferacer.com has a nice selection of helmets. That's where I got mine from.

they get a limited number of unmuffled days per year, most are used for races but there are a couple that clubs get

Yes. It is normally anywhere between an 84-89db limit most times. It is quite rare that you see these come up a lot for this price. IMG managed to get the sound decibel limit removed completely, which is why many RSR Porsches and BMW's are attending this event too
