That's what I did when I took mine to the muffler shop.

BMW of Fairfax is selling them for $940
http://www.bmwoffairfax.com/order-parts-online.htm

They have 2 prices. Their site (one with advertised 20% ) will give you price of $1040; however if you click on the performance parts banner and search for exhaust system and price will be $940.

I think this is direct link

Silly question. Can I order from one dealership and have it shipped to *my* local dealership for installation? My BMW dealership has it for just over $1400 uninstalled, which is a bit steep.

Would I have to have it shipped to me and then bring it my local place?

Why would you do that? It's cheaper to take it to a muffler shop. Should be less than $100 for the install and it's bolt-on.

The option of getting a loaner. Muffler shops don't offer those. Plus not having to carry it to a muffler shop in my already cramped 328.

Any recommendations for places to buy in the UK? After one for my N53 325 but am struggling. I think the PE for the N53 325 is just the back box aswell? Would that be bolt on, or require cutting? Anyone know...

For a new exhaust $950 is right in line for the lowest prices people have paid. You can also check on eBay.

Like the headers, midpipe, and the signature exhaust? Or just the signature exhaust.

Need a help

I have a stock 06 325i.

I would like to install BMW PE.

Can I just install the PE muffler to the stock pipes (after removing stock exhaust) OR do i need to but PE muffler and pipes new?

Thanks

Would the price of muffler alone be less compared with muffler and pipes?

Link to just muffler part# please for 2006 325i?

Also, what are the cons of not installing new pipes?

I don't know that you can buy it it pieces, but installing it with the stock pipes just means it wil have the resonator still connect, and could sound different.
