Will servicing reset any changes you made?

I'd certainly be interested in the 'remember last setting' function for ASS.

I don't think you can set the default driving mode, that has been asked a few times but I'll take a look.

I'll find out next week about the service reset, my car is going in to have the software updated to resolve a few issues.

You can switch the ASS off by default or set to remember last setting, up to you!

The software update is just the same as others have mentioned, to try and resolve the iDrive crashing and the auto wiper sensitivity.

Have a look at DRL settings if you can- one thing I would like is the tail lights on as DRL's, not just the front Angel Eyes, otherwise I don't fully see the point of just having the front lit up. I've heard this is a possible and simple thing to do!

What's everyone else's thoughts on that? It's a shame to not have those beautifully desingned bars lit up to match the stunning Angel Eyes.

Yes I was looking at this today and it is on my list. Looks like there are 7 possible settings for DRL_MODUS.

Think someone on the US forums has done it. I suppose the only argument against is that because the bars overlay the brake lights then someone following you could argue they were distracted and didn't see the brake lights until too late. Don't see it myself, but some people will try anything.

As they are just the normal rear lights it's hard to see how someone could claim that?

I'm 100% with you on that... but as someone who was sitting in their car, stationary at the back of a queue of traffic, who was then hit up the rear by a woman doing 50mph who wasn't looking where she was going, and who then spent two years to get her to admit liability (and a further four years to get damages!)... I know people will try anything. They'll swear you had a dancing monkey on your boot waving a flag saying "look the other way" if they thought it would get them out of something
