Arrow Just rolled over 70k.

Just rolled over 70k on my 07 335i. It's been a great 3 years owning this car but in the next 5-10k miles it will be time to sell the car before it can depreciate any further. Maybe e90 m3 next?

Anyway I guess I'm one of the lucky one's. Haven't had any problems with the hpfp or with anything else for that matter. It's an early 07 build and doesn't have an oil cooler. This thing has been quite reliable actually. Nothing but oil changes every 10k, plugs at 50k (wasn't necessary), tires, brakes, and regular maintenance that I did myself....

Definitely one of the funnest cars I have ever owned, will be sad to see her go.

Never had a note, won't have one on the new car either. Not that I'm really rich or anything, I just can't stand to have a car payment every month.

I agree: keep it. You have one of the better examples based on your lack of problems.

Letting go of paid off car...Not sure if I would do that. Specially even if you have to drop 1k every few months it still aint cost of new car.

My car was worth ~ 30k when I purchased it. Now I can probably get 16-18k private party. Imagine the depreciation if I would have bought it new.
