CF Vinyl or Brushed Black Metalic Interior Trim
Hey guys,
I planning on wrapping my interior wood trim, but I can't decide on what to get. Either Carbon Fiber Vinyl or Brushed Black Metallic? My car is colour Space grey with black Interior. I would appreciate all your opinions and thoughts!! T Thanks in advance!! |

A satin black perhaps?
I'll be going this route shortly or getting it painted Jet Black. Most likely the wrap.

I just wrapped my e46's trim with the brushed black metallic. I love it. IMO in a black interior itll be a bit too subtle, mines in a tan interior. If it were up to me i'd to a brushed steel or brushed titanium in a black interior. The best part is that vinyl is so cheap, when you get bored with one switch it out!

Here's a pic of my interior before I wrapped it black metallic. May be going back to it. Miss the contrast - |

Maybe brushed titanium? It's close to the factory aluminum trim, but a tiny bit darker and shinier. I'm considering wrapping my aluminum trim in brushed titanium - already did the rear vent piece because of scratches and I honestly like it better now.

For 3M stuff, autovinylsolutions.com is the best bet. They carry others as well. ebay sells it too, but it's not any cheaper for the good stuff. If you want cheaper, just buy the no name stuff on eBay, it's almost identical.

Ebay is the best place to get the vinyl. Fastest shipping and cheapest prices. Metrorestyling and autovinylsolutions offer the best prices.
That's the gloss anthracite. I don't have any great pics of the black metallic, but I should snap some. |

Have you considered hydrographics? There is also a cheaper method of CF with plasti dip aswell. And for either you have a wide variety of colors and designs
