Black kidney grills look like an improvement for the front end of this car.

All these parts will be add-ons to your already-owned 3 series, right? Not part of any pre-order options or lines? (ie. not included in M sport)

I plan just getting performance related items and no trim.

I think I will get more joy kicking ass on the road in a stock looking car.

It's more fun to be perceived as an under dog.

Will the M Performance Suspension due out in September 2012 be a dealer installed option, or will it be available as a factory order on the M-Sport buld later this year?

Not too much info yet, but i believe its dealer fitted only.
I also believe its more track racing orientated than road

Can you buy the car then have the option dealer-fitted later? In other words, if you want a sport line and then a year after you get it, you want the M performance steering wheel, can a dealer do that or does the steering wheel need to be fitted when the car is assembled?

These are all dealer fitted.
You can have them fitted at any time.

The steering wheel takes 30min to fit.

This was posted on another forum, but looks like we cant add the M performance parts without the M sport package.

Thanks. Yes, that's right.

As I said in another thread, Southlight's response was with respect to exterior cosmetic M Performance parts.

Here's one tidbit on the M Performance suspension, from our interview/FAQ on M Performance parts from Geneva.

Is the M Performance suspension different from the M Sport Suspension? If so, what are the differences?
The M Performance suspension was developed with M engineers on racetracks. It will be 10mm lower than M Sport package suspension. It will be stiffer than M Sport for better handling.
