Just got home from the first premier of Cloverfield at midnight. The movie ended lame......

when it ended everyone was like WHAT? Thats it?!
nothing was explained, nothing was fixed or captured, no conclusion..........it just ended in the middle of all the chaos. Like imagine watching Independance Day and the movie just randomly ending in the middle of it, before they beat the aliens or anything was explained haha. and the whole movie is filmed as if it was someones handycam so this shit makes you dizzy. Basically, they're filming this guy's going away party when all that shit happens all of a sudden and the camera guy basically keeps rolling through out the events until it just randomly ends and leaves you totally hanging. Not to mention how boring the first 20 minutes are because they keep dragging pointless shit on about that guy and his girl problems and other drama that means nothing to the movie.......lame. Save your money

dam, i wanted to see it. But guys, you have to remember this is trying to be as real as it can be, thats why they have the stupid shaking camera, etc. In real life things don't always end happy ever after, probably thats why it ended like it did.

If you want some movie made for the mindless, where you stare at a screen for 1.5 hours not thinking one bit.. this movie isn't for you. I suggest you go see Live Free/Die Hard or something.. -Nathan

I just got out of my matinee. Glad I didnt pay full price for it.
That being said, I liked the movie. If youre a fan of LOST, then you know JJ Abrams style, that is, you wont get any answers. If you can deal with that and dont motion sickness easily(a couple people were leaving the movie quite often) then youll be on the edge of your seat for it. Its a short movie too, maybe an hour and 15-20 mins.
