How much do you spend for a haircut?

I always spend under 20 dollars because they tend to do a good job, except for today because the guy rushed my haircut just before closing.

$5 no tip. Been going to the same guy since I was a kid. Never raised prices on me and since he's the owner, no tip necessary, though I tip him at least $3. He now cuts my two boys' hair too. Same price too.

I spend $20. I hate going to these salon type studios with these women that wont shut up about their kids or whatever else that doesn't matter to me in the least.
I just go to a barber that treats me great, and lets me be alone if I dont feel like chatting. No point in spending extra for all this other overhead, (no pun intended I guess ) and services I dont need.

Yes, and before I first went to a salon I didn't know any better.

O man it is a TOTALLY different experience.

They do a much better job, and to me it is visible. They REALLY know how to layer your hair.

$120 ??? That's just to walk in the door in a decent SoCal salon...but it generally does include a nice glass of wine. Think a couple of C-notes...the cost of beauty
