Nice! Yeah change the stock so that you will have a good cheek weld.

Yeah it was that or a SOPMOD. Want to put some CR123 batteries in there, too.

How do you like that extended slide stop/release on your G23?

It's good. Mainly for looks because I slingshot the slide anyway.

I love it. It's been holding up very well.

I blow it out with shop air, and a few drops of oil ever few months. No problems yet, I've carried it every day for just about a year now.

Really like the 23.

Just shot my buddies 23 .40 a few weeks ago. My first Glock. I actually love it. I have tiny hands and initially thought it was too top heavy, but with a full mag, the action was so smooth and manageable. I actually shot it better than him.

Great choice and inexpensive

I'm not usually more than a few feet from my 23. Had it for for about 17 years now. One of my favorite pistols i've every shot. Fit's me perfectly with a hogue grip and it seems like i can put a hole in something just by thinking about it with that pistol. Shots exactly where i point it.

I like how they say the recoil is tamed by a muzzle compensator. It wasn't. Or it sure didn't feel like it after the 8th round.

Picked up a S&W M&P 9 full-size a few weeks ago. Completely stock, so won't even bother with any pics

Two questions:
1. What do you guys suggest for a smaller range bag?
Something for one (possibly two) handguns, eyes/ears, few hundred rounds of ammo, and some odds/ends. Most of the ones out there seem a bit overkill for someone just getting into this.

2. What about home safes?
Looking at StackOn or GunVault, but open to suggestions on something for the M&P – but not one of the super small portable kinds.
