The closest thing I have come to owning a US vehicle, is a Mazda 626. It's what 40% Ford or something like that. The 60% I think made the difference.

It's Jap or Euro for me.

I drove a Chrysler Intrepid or something along those lines a year or two ago. I think it was two. I must say that I was not impressed one bit. The throttle was jumpy, the quality was poor...it was a rental but I couldn't get out of it fast enough.

The US may have made good cars, but I don't think they're being made today.

Anyway, why? Automakers aren't exactly a strong point for the states so why bring it up?
