Need help removing stick on convex mirrors

Whats a good way to do this? The previous owner put these stick on (grand auto type) convex mirrors on both rear view mirrors. I dont want to pry on them to much and crack the oem mirror. I tryed a little Citra solv = nothing!
maybe wd40? Just want them off with out cracking the org. mirrors. Any advice/tricks is very appreciated

Goo gone? Fishing wire? Some of those could help. Also try pouring boiling water over it but be careful not to touch the painted surface with that type of stuff. The hell with your hands, clean mirror is more important

heat it up with a hair dryer
use fishing line to "floss" behind the convex stick on
remove glue residue with adhesive remover, remember not to use papertowel only soft cloth.

x3 on the fishing line

Once you get the mirrors off with the fishing line you can get at the adhesive without any interference...just take your time.
