Brake lines DIY?

I have a set of stainless steel brake lines which I haven't installed yet. Does anyone have a DIY? Why are there 6 lines in the package?

These were supposed to be installed by an 'expert', but it was clear as soon as the wheels came off he had no clue, so I aborted. There is an E46 DIY (http://www.madrussian.net/m3/diy_fro...ke_lines.shtml) but I am not sure how well this translates.

TIA

The process should be similar to the DIY you included. I know at least one forum member has done this.

If are confident with doing other work yourself, this shouldnt be much harder to do. Bleeding the brakes is probably the hardest part.

Where is the brake fluid reservoir? Is it tucked up and back to the drivers side like the e60? Thanks.

Not familiar with the E60, but reservoir is below driver's side HVAC filter (aka 'microfilter'), but you need to remove an additional black cover to get to it. And it's shared with the clutch, at least on 6MTs. Hope this helps.
