2009 BMW 535i Sedan

I found a brand new 2009 BMW 535i Sedan for sale with an MSRP of $59,970. I called the dealership and offered them $41,000 (plus tax, lic $ fees). Dealership called back and said they would accept the offer because they're motivated to sell this car. Your thoughts my E90 family. I like the car, it' has more room than my 330i, and the price seems good. Am I missing something? Deal or No deal?

You're getting a 535 for the price of a near base 335...definitely a deal!

The only "con", if you can call it that is that you need to ask yourself in the long run...can you live with the E60 since the new F 5'er is out now.

Of course if you're leasing this or planning on switching to another car in a couple of years, it won't be as big of a decision as it would be if you were to keep the car for say, 5+ yrs.

I would say yes it's a deal. That's hella cheap!! Personally i would just buy it regardless of the new model having been released. If you're leasing, however, then that's a moot point. Ask them if there's anything wrong with the car though?

great deal! Only thing I personally dont like is the beige leather but you seem to already be a fan of the black/beige combo. Seems to be a no brainer to buy or lease at that price. Who wouldn't want a car that had almost $20K knocked off the MSRP?

If they were that quick to accept, then you should give them some excuse to postpone the deal...likely they would be willing to come down even further off that price.

I'm thinking wait until the 28th on Saturday at around 5pm, around 30 minutes before the dealer closes, then go in for the kill.

It is essentially a two year old car. As soon as you drive it off the lot, it will depreciate even further. It is a good deal, but that's it.
