I dont know about those.

We do search and rescue, rock climbing, patrol, lost prevention, etc.. We are given a badge and a gun. We just do not get paid from the government. Its free service to the people.

hey OP how is this working out for you? can you give some more info about it like requirements, how hard is it to get accepted, and if you gain anything from this other than doing some good and getting experience? i'm interested to know, thanks.

Anyways, I have not fallowed through with this. Because I started a new school and Im considering joining the Navy or Air Force. If everything falls in place.

Further more, you will join the academy which is 9 months and you attend it 2 days a week in random cities like Valencia. This will include trainning, weapons, knowledge, etc.

If you graduate, you will work for free basically. You understand this correct? You will be given a badge and a right to carry and use a handgun. Thats it.

The application is 17 pages long. You will need to have a clean record. If you do not pay taxes or divorced or married. The application will be easy and fast to fill out. If yes, then you better start today cause its a bitch.

Going on, you will need to answer short answers to there questions on a paper. Including a self statement about yourself and who you are. You will have to also right a paper on your 5 weaknesses and 5 strengths.

You will need to get a copy of and attach high school, college transcripts, etc.

This is all I remember. My app is all finished. I just havent done the essays.

Oh theres a lot obviously. But you gotta be on top of your clean record, essays, to make a great option.

They judge harshly when looking at apps. Just like a University.

People do the reserve for their own reasons.
