What do you do? I've been to both Iraq and Afghanistan (in the military so I didn't make shit), there is a ton of cash to be made but it really depends on what you're looking to go do. You can go babysit the locals and make 110K a year or if you're intel/IT/logistics you can make 200-300K+ easy. The guy who was running the gas station on base when I was in Iraq was making 160K and he didn't do shit other than watch people pump gas and watch movies all day.

People think contractors make a ton of money, but really, you have to have something to offer to make the big bucks. I personally saw to it that the lazy/unnecessary ones were fired and kicked out of Iraq, so make sure you have some scrap of work ethic and some education/skill. If you have a clearance, try clearedconnections.com or clearancejobs.com or google.com for others.
