All that work and build up and it's litterally done in a matter of hours. You are so fatigued that you can't really think straight. You end up talking/taking pictures/shaking hands so much that you won't even get to enjoy your reception or the food... or the cake.

Hope you are going on a honey-moon... it was a seriously needed and welcomed vacation for my wife and I after ours.

...and we only had 50 people at our wedding. LOL.

It does go by fast. Don't get so wrapped up in everything that you forget to take in the day and enjoy the celebration. Marriage is what you make it. If you have the attitude that you're going to be suffocated and it's going to suck, then you're right. I personally think marriage is awesome! I've got a great wife who wants me to be happy and does things to make sure that happens.

Get some rest the night before. Drink a lot of water/non alcohol drinks the day of, and try to get some food into you.

My buddy had a decent sized weddinga the Four Season's and his wife was totally neurotic about everything she couldn't delegate and was up very late (5AM). She then didn't eat right or stay hydrated. Right before the party, they were taking some pics and sipping on some bubbly... she then basically crashed and passed out, but she really just fell asleep from the alcohol... missed her own wedding party. Four Season's wedding blown to shit because she coudn't let others help her and get some sleep.
