I recall reading that BMW were asking if any of the affected had an accident as a result of the issue and nobody has actually confirmed. This was just within the UK through I think.....

Guys,
Before taking a stab at BMW, if any of you are well versed with the aviation industries, Commercial Airlines constantly receive "Work Order" from Boeing, Airbus and the likes, to make changes to certain components in Air Frames and Engines. Maybe thats something you can all relate to in terms of recalls the next time you think about air travel. I would like very much for manufacturers to be proactive and take the responsibility to rectify defects if any. The line is drawn before cars burst into a fiery ball of flame. |
