Agreed. The defense is getting thin already. Haven't seen any updates on Hardin but it didn't look like an injury that he quickly bounce back from.

I hope Alshon Jeffrey keeps his good play up. He is looking like a pretty good threat.

#54 even if he does suit up against the colts i doubt he'll get many reps. Conti had a shoulder dislocation, no one has stated how severe it was but could be a few weeks to a few months, just depends if he wrecked the passive structures or it just popped out....

I do like steltz and they picked up another safety just in case...hoping MW stays healthy as it seems he's playing better IMO...

friday is a nice test for the o line (even if jpp isn't playing) as well as the defense...I do think we can be good without #54 as our pass rush is far better than 09 when we lost him...that and hopefully there will be less 3 and outs this season...

wondering how the RB and TE spots will fill up. Even WR's have a few spots that people are fighting for. I like chris summers but he showed his inexperience pretty well against the skins, if he doesn't make the final roster I hope they put him on the practice squad. I think the last spot on the WR depth chart is between Sanzebacher and Summers...Alshon and Shea are definitely showing potential which is nice...so glad we dropped JAngelo and Emery for the most part has done well IMO

sux for Bell, he was decent.

Booker is a hair faster than Allen in a straight line but I don't see the Bears taking a 28 yr old Booker over a 23 yr old Allen that they can abuse and then toss in the trash after 3 yrs.

agree...too many fundamental mistakes in all phases...poor running, dropped balls, and special teams (which has always been great) look like crap thus far...hoping this is all just preseason kinks..but man I was more confident after game 2....let's see who makes the cut and who doesn't...

allen v booker at RB
and all the TE's fighting for a spot as well...

Don't let the preseason bother you too much, man.

2008 Lions were preaseason champs, 4-0 with the tiebreaker too.

Look how that turned out for them. I'd be more worried about injuries than performance.

Negative, not that I've heard. I don't pay much attention to the preseason anymore though. BTW, Stafford just went down again apparently. Not sure of the details, but that's why I don't watch. All the preseason is good for is getting guys injured IMO. Also, I'm not close to the buzz or surrounded by Lions fans so I don't get much info other than from online newspapers and such.

EDIT: Damn, now the live feed says Bentley and Houston have also left with injuries. They might suck, but they're all we had at CB... LOL looks like it's going to be a really long season....
