Took a look at a 135i yesterday
I think this will be a screamer with 300Lbs less curb weight. With the right wheel selection, this could be pretty decent looking also. What do you think??

Wow, that is pretty neat lookin'. I think it demands to be lowered, it looks like such a tall care compared to the length. Perhaps it is just this photo.

It's really growing on me, but the interior looks so crammed!
Is there a height limit to drive this car?

i noticed you are in california, what event was this? i wouldn't mind checking this thing out. maybe it's that i'm blinded by the performance potential, but i think the car looks pretty good.

woohooo!!! Can't wait to test drive this thing. VERY seriously considering getting one of these. Sold my old 1993 Nissan NX2000 for my G35 and I miss the great handling of the NX. Not to say that the G doesn't handle well, but the smaller, lighter cars just seem to be so much more fun to toss around. Throw in some basic intake, exhaust, and ECU upgrades and this little Bimmer is gonna scream!

The biggest issue I have with this car aesthetically is the boat-like lines of the sideskirts... The line dividing the sideskirt, doorpanel, left and rear fenders.

Who gives a shit about the interior grade???? It's not a Lexus or MB folks, you're not getting luxury here. BMW is about good performance, not top of the line interiors. If the seats are comfortable and the pieces function correctly and don't fall apart, who cares what level of plastic they used. Get over it.

If I didn't have a baby on the way, this would have been my next car.
Not as good looking as the 3, but what do you expect? (they have to give folks a reason to upgrade aside from marginally more interior *******. I love driving small cars, and this one should be an absolute blast to drive. |

I find the 1 series a little boring. It does nothing for me. I remember when i saw the e92 i said i have to get it. Maybe if i had another car, this car would look different.
I guess vishnu tunning is smiling from ear to ear. More money for their pockets. BMW is really helping you guys out. |

I can't get over the tail lights. If we had them available as a hatch, I would buy one.
Like somebody else said, it's not a car that I said "I've gotta have it" like I did with my e92. |

I think its a cool car, but if it wasn't for the N54 we wouldn't even give it a second glance IMO. Also, i'm not too sure that its actually going to weigh 300lbs less according to some things that I read online. Overall, I like it, but its not really a bargain so for 35k I would want a car that I wouldn't have to compromise over whether or not I liked the styling.

What? no cup holders? What kind of car is it without cup holders?
Just kidding. Looks OK, and with the performance it gets it's going to sell pretty well. |
