Barely beat the Celtics. The year before they were a 65 win team with Ariza. I understand your point but classy organizations do not sign Artest who after of the night of being signed said in an ESPN studio he wanted to "hoodalize" Los Angeles.

That's true but that is also the same Artest that took the rockets to a game 7 vs the lakers. Everyone wanted Artest at that point.

artest helps kobe conserve energy on the defensive end by defending the elite wing players. Just like how melo bullies ariza all over the perimeter. he wanted to help kobe win a ring and did just that in game 7 vs boston.

I would take Mike Brown over Antoni

Lakers biggest problem this season was their defense. For being touted as a defensive specialist, brown failed at that. The lakers defense has been poor since the latter half of last season.

D'antoni's suns was middle of the road in terms of defense and the knicks were in the top 10 in terms of defensive efficiency.

I'm all for it if we keep gasol. Read some rumors where gasol is included for harrington which makes no sense.

The best thing for Gasol would be to get the hell outta LA. He is too good a player to be stuck watching kobe shoot bricks and look at dwight try to play like a center.

Ya that must suck for pau to win 2 rings while watching kobe chuck up bricks. He was great in his prime never winning a playoff game as the man in memphis. Your statement would of made more sense while pau was holding up the trophy.

Brown was lost. Pitting artest against SGs and jamison at SF where they don't have the quickness to compete.

And yes yawn at the kobe arguments. He has been horribly efficient this year.

I don't want to get rid of gasol, but yes he could still put up prime numbers if he was the center on another team and the 1st option in the post.

I love all the Kobe haters. It is the age old sports complex. You hate the best players in their perspective sports because heaven for bid they may take down your "fill in the blank" favorite.

Just go look at his stats, rings and oh yeah how about his work ethic and knowledge for the game. If only all you haters worked that hard.

If Shaq had half of Kobe's work ethic, the Lakers would have even more rings and would've passed the Celtics in championships years ago.
