There's too much saltiness to even reply point by point. I had to highlight the funny parts of your post and post some goodness.

And this graph is old. Obama has created net jobs while GW Bush had negative net jobs (over 8 years). But, I'm sure you voted for him, twice. Not to mention that the large amount of Obama job losses happened his first month or two, and were not reflective of timing and not of anything he did or didn't do.

That is just the "tyranny of majority". It is a concept almost all proponents of classical liberalism feared. It is why America was created as a constitutional republic. Pretty much all of the founding fathers thought negatively of democracy. Too bad we have degenerated into a representative democracy.

Pure democracy is inherently evil. It is probably the worst form of government out there because it creates illusions of justice. When society or the majority accepts something it is very hard for the average human to see it is truly wrong. For example. 10 people are in a room. 6 men and 4 women. The men vote that rape should be legal. They accept it and are happy with their decision. They even rationalize its for the greater good since it makes more people happy. If on the other hand 10 people are in a room and one is the monarch the moment he starts to rape, kill or steal people will start to question his actions and rebel.

I think many people have illusions of grandeur in thinking their jobs, their personal finances, and their security is soley dependent on one man. If it's true, then what does it say about the way our country is set up? Is that the country our founders intended, especially after fleeing a monarchy government?

I personally don't think the economy we're in is the result of George Bush or Obama. The USA is in for some hard times and people have a difficult time accepting that. It's easier to point the finger at one person than examine the real reasons and face reality. People spend money like its post-war times, yet our current GDP growth isn't what it was during post-war times. Eventually reality will catch up and nasty economic repercussions will occur. Hello and welcome to reality.

The biggest upside to Obama's win is that the Supreme Court will stay more or less balanced. It will either be 5-4 conservative or 5-4 liberal, either of which is fine with me. If Romney had won, it could easily have gone to 6-3 conservative, which would be very bad.

Otherwise we're back to business as usual. They'll postpone the fiscal cliff and then continue to kick the can down the road, maybe all the way to 2016. I don't expect much change.

One lesson the GOP *must* learn from this (and probably won't) is that the nutcases with the big mouths, like the Tea Party and the Christian Right, will continue to dog them and cause them to lose elections. America finally got sick of the Tea Party and booted many of them from office. A couple of those losers helped themselves out the door with abjectly stupid remarks about rape. I know many, many fiscal conservatives who don't GAF about abortion or gay marriage or any of the other nonsense the Christian Right screams about. They keep seeing their opportunity to get the country back on a fiscal path they can live with ruined by the social nutcases.

The Tea Party loudmouths are also a dying breed now. Romney shot himself in the foot by picking a radical Tea Party darling like R-Ayn to be his running mate. The fact that R-Ayn was muzzled for most of the campaign is evidence that Romney suddenly realized he screwed up with that choice. He'd have been better off with almost any other person on his short list.

Actually it's quite the opposite, most of those with "illusions" are those without jobs and personal finances whom voted for this man because he gives them things, cellphones, foodstamps, etc. and they thank him personally instead of us the taxpayers footing the bill..

While the economy is not the direct result of the President in charge, the economy and recoveries can be greatly influenced by the right leader in charge, aka Clinton, Reagan, JFK.

Culturally the divisive partisan nature of Obama's hatred forebodes badly for America's future and it's idealism, he won this campaign by painting Romney as a murderer and a tax cheat, instead of articulating a positive vision for the future.

The stock market's decline today is all a reaction to Obama's win.

Calm down. This country is always changing, but it isn't coming to an end. Obama is not Castro and the U.S. is not Cuba. We still live in a democracy with divided government and contrary to your delusional fantasy the president is not a dictator and none of that will change, even in the next 4 years.

You are definitely right about this. All far left socialist and communist movements only develop into dictatorships in extremely under-developed countries. You can't expect communism in the US ever. It would trigger an overwhelming response from right wing nationalist groups that would inevitably crush it if things got violent.

I wouldn't even have a problem with Democrats being in power and trying out their idiotic economic plans and social reforms if they would at least learn from their mistakes. The problem is people never learn and they will continue to beat a dead horse and drag the economy down.
