M performance suspension on 435i xDrive adaptive suspension (DHP)

Hello,

I'm looking to drop my 435xi which is looking like a pick-up...

Do you know if the M Performance suspension from BMW comes with some coding to adapt the electronic suspension ? (attached)

Because, since the difference between comfort and sport mode is very noticeable (I've read in the forum, that's not the case for everyone though...)

I'm wondering if the handling would be altered with other aftermarket solutions like H&R or others? In that case, would the warranty be voided?

Does anyone have any good setup to recommend or the M adaptive suspension isn't an issue as long as you just change the springs only?

Thanks for your inputs

+1 and subscribed.

Can't offer opinions or advice as I have the same questions as I contemplate mitigating the massive wheel well gaps on my 435xi.

Hi, I'm still waiting for Dinan to release a spring for the xdrive F3x. This would be a spring only retrofit.

Other option is KW who does make an adaptive replacement (springs and adaptive shocks), but that system is not available in North America yet...

Cheers,

I've lowered my Xdrive F30 N55 by swapping my oem springs to the M-Sport springs. Resulted in a 11-12mm drop.

Yep please ! More photos would be nice...
Do you have Adaptive dampers ?
If yes does it have the same behavior as with the stock springs ? Except it would be a little stiffer I guess...

How come you're not considering HR springs?

From what I have read on this forum and going by my gut, it sounds like the H&R ride a little harsh, especially over rough roads. People seem to like the Dinan and they are a good balance...

I emailed Dinan a few days ago, no response, so might look at the KW units again (but there expensive).

Cheers

I know this is an old thread, but was your car 6mt or auto, and did you get the springs from a 6mt or auto?

Thnaks
