M3 Coupe: … CONTINUED
DCT has long been projected as arriving with the E90/E92 M3. Well today we had a gift in the form of images of the E93 M3 Convertible which is also equipped with M-DCT. Two for one today!
This is one of the most stunning new tuner M3s I have seen yet. This car is worked up by previosuly unknown tuner (to me) Ericsson which is aparently Japanese tuner Amuse’s namebrand for its work on German cars. Not a bad first outing, although most of the beauty is because of the BBS wheels.
Thanks to apw2607 for supplying the new M3 Owners Manual

Theres nothing that unexpected here, M3 face and body, combined with the E93s folding hardtop. Although some people have asked for a soft-top for the performance advantage, I dont think the new V8 engine will have any problem at all with the little extra weight of the hardtop. Whats more interesting to see is what kind of extra body reinforments are made to the car to handle the extra power and performance demands. We want a rigid car!
