Aston Martin of New England held its annual Cars & Coffee two Saturdays ago. It was a gorgeous day out in Boston, which brought out all the nice cars.
Several BMWs were in attendance, including a Lime Rock Park M3 and Brilliant White Individual F10 M5.
It was one of those last minute things… I was traveling to Munich for our Welt 4.0 car show last weekend (held at the BMW Welt grounds) when I got an invite from Gennaro, VP of ///M Flight, to see if I was interested in joining him on a tour of the ///M Studio. Just days ahead of the start of the new DTM season, BMW Team Schnitzer driver Bruno Spengler (CA) already has his first race at the Hockenheimring (DE) under his belt – although it did come at the wheel of a somewhat alien car to the Canadian. BMW Motorsport invited the reigning DTM champion and 1989 winner Roberto Ravaglia (IT) to a very special “Generation Game”.

LB Performance, based in Japan, has released images of its E92 M3 wide body kit, which features bolt on wide body fenders and bumpers, front spoiler and trunk wing.
No other specs/details released yet on this widebody kit, but we’ll update when we hear.
The EAS project M3 race car gets a new look and supercharger. The ESS VT2-625 Supercharger replaces the previous VF620 system for 2013.
A couple of shots her show a prototype replacement intake runner was machined in-house and houses the boost pressure and secondary IAT sensor for datalogging/monitoring. Two versions will be released shortly, which will make it easier for thsoe looking for individual-based runner methanol injection or auxiliary sensor mounting.

Ahead of its debut (in concept form) sometime later this year, the production F80 M3 prototype forges ahead with testing this week at the Nurburgring. We’ve got it on video giving us probably the best listen so far at the F80 M3′s multi-turbo inline 6.
