An interview about the development of the new BMW M3 and M4 with two central members of the development team, product manager Christoph Smieskol and project manager Michael Wimbeck. Over the course of our interview, they gave us first-hand information about the latest high-performance M cars and how they have made their way onto our roads.

Just released: REMUS presents a brand new, unique exhaust option for the F80 M3/ F82 M4.
The 5mm wider stainless steel X-pipe and connecting pipe eliminates the front silencer and secondary catalytic convertors. This deletion adds a rumble to the S55 engine and simultaneously amplifies the turbo spool to make it a distinct part of the powerful exhaust note.

We believe this is the first look and visual evidence of the F80 M3 LCI coming this Summer, to coincide with the F30 3 Series LCI. The Autogespot photographer calls this an M2 (F87) prototype, but we believe this is the F80 M3 LCI. The wide fenders and quad exhaust indicates this is an M model.

Commissioned by Maxxis tire, the goal was to build a street spec car with all bolt-on performance components while retaining full interior. The car is set up with JRZ Suspension and custom aero pieces with all fabrication work done in-house in our California facility. The areas of main focus on this project are suspension tuning, aerodynamics development, and the overall balance and track performance of the car.
