We’ve seen many great videos of some great runs on the M3, showing proper lines, shifting, and overall driving, but this one takes the cake on how NOT to drive on the Nurburgring. The driver is clearly unfamiliar with the proper way to run on the Nordschleife and to handle his M3. His driving follies would be entertaining, if not for the fact that it poses danger to others on the open-to-public track.
The Forum Wars producers have laid down the challenge for our M3 owners to take on a C63 AMG from BenzWorld for Season 2. The race will take place in Houston, Texas on the weekend of Jan. 8, 2011 and will be aired on SPEED and the internet sometime in the spring. Nominate yourself or another M3POST member inside!

Talk of next 1-series M already?! Now that the 1M has been revealed, Scott26 has already turned to talk of the future of the 1M (or M2 as it may be called), as well as the M-Division’s future, which may bring more track/performance focused 1M and M3 special models, as well as potential Z4M and X3M models!

The 2010 Essen Motor Show is underway in Essen, Germany. It’s the equivalent of America’s SEMA show, but is dominated by German makes, featuring some of the wildest BMWs, Mercedes, Audis, and Porsches. M3post member has shared this huge set of photos.
The M3 GT2 racecar had some time in the spotlight on David Letterman’s show (who co-owns the Rahal-Letterman Racing Team) following BMW’s ALMS manufacturer championship. Letterman humorously asks BMW to send him one for commuting.

The 2010 Essen Motor Show, Germany’s equivalent of SEMA, kicks off this weekend but the Manhart V8RS M3 E92 Biturbo has already been spotted. The heart of this M3 has been replaced with the X6M’s S63 motor and bumped up to 734PS (724hp) / 870Nm torque! No exact details yet on the modifications made to achieve these numbers, but we will post them when released.
