The following race featured an ESS VT3-725 Supercharged BMW M3 vs. FBO 2013 R35 GT-R. Check out the result in the video.

BIMMERPOST once again sponsored the most recent Airstrip Attack, a two day runway shootout race event held at the Coalinga Municipal Airport in Coalinga, California. As before, the event saw some of the most powerful European, Domestic, and Japanese cars from California go head-to-head on a half mile stretch of tarmac. The classes ranged from 400hp+ all the way to 1000hp+.

Buttonwillow Raceway Park, CA, November 7, 2012: The Global Time Attack series pits drivers and cars against the clock to see who can run the fastest lap time in their respective class. The invite only event catered only to the fastest time attack teams in the country and the event saw a stacked field. The EAS Supercharged BMW M3 fit into the Limited RWD class, marking its first time within the series.

Louis approached us in need of consultation for his E92 M3. Although initially we were talking some small steps to improve the M3, the car eventually transformed into the beast seen in these photos. We are fortunate to work with a client like Louis because he allows us creative freedom, and his open mind and creative nature give us the oppotunity to try new color schemes and combinations on his cars. Background on the car by VS Motorsports: Yes, this is a NASA World Challenge Car. We met our customer out at Mid-Ohio for Nationals and he was looking for a new shop to help him be faster and win! So he allowed us to take his car into our shop and fix any issues that might of not been looked at.
