Very unique BMW build from Germany. This is an E9 CS body mated with E39 M5 drivetrain (S62, 6MT), complete with the contemporary interior (Nav) of the E39 M5 and technology bits (ABS, air bags), all functional.
As we’ve shown you in recent spy photos, BMW is currently conducting cold climate testing for its prototypes in Northern Sweden where the F10 M5 has made an unexpected appearance. At first glance, there’s nothing unique about this M5, but a quick peak underneath shows the big secret that it’s hiding – an all-wheel-drive drivetrain! After two years of waiting, the F10 M5 S63tu engine control has been unlocked to tuners of the BMW M5.
AMS Performance has finally released an Alpha tune for the F10 M5 and it will include:
* 100 horsepower gain over the factory power output
* True ECU reflash, balancing the critical parameters of the engine for safe operation
* Top speed limiter removal
* CEL removal
