Since its recent European market introduction, many a M5 fan has been waiting to see the tuning potential of the new F10 M5 and its beefy 560hp bi-turbo S63Tu engine. The first F10 M5 ECU tune has now been released, by the German tuning company, PP-Performance.
They were recently able to crack the factory ECU and their Stage 1 tune added:
Gains: +60hp and +70Nm (51lb-ft) torque
New total output: 620 HP / 750Nm (553lb-ft) torque
The price for the stage 1 tune has been set at 3,499 € (euros). … CONTINUED
Sometimes it’s mad fun (and great sounding) to rip off some revs in your BMW in enclosed spaces such as tunnels or underground garage. So how would the 560hp F10 M5 MotoGP Safety Car with its Akrapovic exhaust system sound in the BMW Welt? As you can see in the video inside, pretty damn awesome!
The F10 M5 has officially launched to the Singapore market and BMW held a launch event to mark the occasion. Our members in attendance brings us a few photos from the event, which featured appropriately, a Singapore Grey M5.

This F10 M5 on-track video from the Circuit Magny-Cours in France is one of the best track videos we’ve seen, effectively conveying the sounds and sensations of tracking the 2013 M5. Recorded by MotorSport, the video captures an entire single lap around the track. If you like exhaust burble, you’ll love this video.

This must have felt like Christmas for the folks at Autobild. Autobild knows what it takes to have a great story and has done a special edition on BMW M models, called “Fascination M.” In this special comparo, Autobild gives an overview of all current BMW M models as well as interesting insights into M GmbH. Autocar UK places Steve Sutcliffe behind the wheel of the F10 M5 for some BMW hoonage. Sure, a 560hp/501lb-ft torque RWD monster can drift, but the question here is – how far will it drift?
No surprise to anyone, the answer is FAR! According to Sutcliffe, the fast steering system and monster torque make the F10 M5 a cinch to throw around, and it shows in this video.

While US customers are still waiting for the new F10 M5 to hit showroom floors later next year, European tuners have begun to have access to and tinker with the 2013 M5. Germany based tuner PP Performance have posted the first independent dyno runs of the F10 M5.
This F10 M5 put down 444 BHP to the wheels on a MAHA LPS 3000 dyno. This translates to an estimated engine power of 573.7 BHP and 721 NM of torque.
