The 2012 Eurofest took place this past weekend at the The New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey (where the Jets and Giants call home). Cars of all European makes and models were in attendance, but the scene appeared to be dominated by BMWs.

The summer may be coming to an end soon, but the BMW meets and activities have not. Last weekend featured yet another large BMW gathering in the Northwest. Pacific BMW CCA held a special M-Car Day to gather some of the wonderful BMW M Cars in Washington area. The event was held at Griot’s garage in their new facilities in Tacoma, WA. G-Power has released its BMW M6 Hurricane RR which they claim to be the world’s fastest 4-seater coupe. Its V10 produces a whopping 800 PS (789 bhp) and reaches a top speed of more than 370 kph (230 mph). G-Power uses the record-setting engine already found in the M5 Hurricane RR to get more power out of the M6.
BMW has announced the end of production for the E63 M6 coupe and convertibles. 14,152 M6 coupes were built in total, which began production in 2005 and 5,065 convertibles were built from 2006 on. The next generation F12/F13 M6 will continue to share the engine and drivetrain with the F10 M5, and is expected to make its world public debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
