BMW recently announced the availability of several new BMW Individual frozen (matte) colors for the M5 and M6, including Frozen Black metallic, Frozen Blue metallic, Frozen Red metallic and Frozen Brilliant White metallic.
Exclusive to the M6 (all variants) however, is the addition of Frozen Cashmere Silver metallic, which we show you for the first time from the floor of the 2013 LA Auto Show. Based on our first look, we found it to be even more attractive than Frozen Silver.

Marc Marquez was a sensation in his first season of MotoGP – and his show-stopping performances also carried over to the BMW M Award. The award, in the form of an exclusive and customised BMW M car, is presented each year by MotoGP partner BMW M GmbH. As BMW M GmbH is celebrating a double anniversary in 2013 – it is the company’s 15th season as “Official Car of MotoGP” and the BMW M Award is presented since ten years – this year’s prize is a real highlight: an exclusive BMW M6 Coupé.
The following are the 2014 6 Series and M6 changes, per BMWNA:

Active Protection has been added to all M6 models to initiate protective measures for occupants if an accident situation is imminent: front seatbelts are pulled tight, windows are closed, and brakes are automatically applied after crash. Includes Attention Assistant, whereby the system’s electronics analyze driving behavior on the basis of various signals such as steering angle, road speed and other engine parameters. If the system increasingly detects signs of fatigue starting to build up, it issues a notification via the central Control Display to encourage the driver to take a break.

BMW M always claims that it subscribes to no dogmas while considering all possibilities in developing new models. That now includes the possibility of all-wheel-drive M5 and M6 models.
In a recent interview with Motoring, BMW M CEO Dr. Friedrich Nitschke acknowledges that “I’ve looked at the numbers and 70 to 80 percent of E63 AMGs are all-wheel drive in the US now.”
He then confirms that: “On our cars we are thinking of all-wheel drive, but it won

Car and Driver compares three of the best performing luxury ‘coupe’ styled sedans available – the M6 Gran Coupe, Audi RS7 and Mercedes CLS63 AMG.
On paper, the M6 Gran Coupe starts from the rear position on the grid with the lowest factory power figures and RWD (for acceleration). Its 560 hp / 501 lb-ft were short of the RS7′s 568 hp / 516 lb-ft and the CLS63′s 585 hp / 590 lb-ft. The RS7 and CLS63′s AWD system also give them the 0-60 advantage, in theory.
How did these figures translate to real world performance tests? In a rolling start, the BMW was quickest, covering 5-60 mph in 4 seconds, which was 0.1 seconds faster than the CLS63 and 0.4 seconds faster than the RS7. From … CONTINUED
