MINI has just released this teaser of a new concept. It will be unveiled in London on September 23 and you may win tickets to attend the exclusive live unveiling event. Unfortunately, the tickets are only available to UK residents.
So what’s under the cover? To us, it resembles a MINI Countryman. Perhaps it’s the John Cooper Works version of the Countryman?
MINI has announced today that the “new MINI Countryman World Rally Car has successfully completed its shakedown phase at Prodrive’s private proving ground in Warwickshire.” Mini said that the Mini Countryman World Rally Car completed the initial part of the car’s test and development with the engineering team driving the car over four days, primarily on tarmac, but also including several KMs on loose surfaces and Prodrive’s low grip facility. Autocar.uk has published a rendering of the upcoming Mini Sport Activity Coupe (or what some have dubbed the Countryman Coupe or Mini X6).
