BMW has unveiled the BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car, which looks to preview a host of carbon fiber M Performance Parts.
The M4 Safety Car will start its service during the MotoGP season start at Qatar in 16 days.
The submission of the necessary papers for the aerodynamic homologation of the 2014-spec DTM cars to the Deutsche Motor Sport Bund (DMSB) also marks the end of a busy, and yet exciting, period for BMW Motorsport. Development work on the BMW M4 DTM, which will compete in the forthcoming DTM season, has been in full swing in recent weeks and months. As of today, it is no longer possible to make modifications to fundamental areas of the car, heralding a new phase of preparations for the start of the season in Hockenheim (DE) on 4th May. The forthcoming tests will primarily focus on optimising detailed aspects of the total package and understanding how to exhaust the full potential of the BMW M4 DTM.

The BMW M235i Racing is currently the talk of the town among privateer teams and drivers. Be it at the Nürburgring 24 Hours, the VLN Endurance Championship or the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring (RCN): The new car will be a strong ally in their quest to master the challenging Nordschleife.
This Museum is in the sleepy town of STAVELOT. The Spa Francorchamps race track is down the road from here a few kilometers. I guess my words of wisdom would be not to expect much. The museum is decent, but it is small and on the grounds of an old Abbey. There are also a few other museums located in upstairs in the Abbey. One of which is a puppet museum. Needless to say I did not visit it.
When my GPS guided me into the Abbey’s parking lot… I really thought I was in the wrong place. Because its in the middle of a small city/village – and its in an old bricked building/Abbey.

Grassroot Motorsports drives the BMW M235i Racing around Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It’s a factory-built race car from BMW designed for privateers and club racers, aimed mostly at Germany’s VLN series at the Nurburgring and similar European series. BMW is entertaining thoughts of bringing it to the US, so they invited us to try it out.
BMW Motorsport and BMW Team RLL experienced a successful start to the United SportsCar Championship (USCC), securing an impressive podium result in what was the start of a new era in American motor racing. The number 55 BMW Z4 GTLM crossed the line second in the GTLM at the 24-hour race of Daytona (US), after completing a total of 679 laps of the iconic “Daytona International Speedway” road course. BMW drivers swept the top-four finishing positions in Grand Sport class and the top-two spots in Street Tuner class in today’s BMW Performance 200, the opening round of the 2014 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.
