The “Green Hell” M3 by IND recently competed in the Redline Time Attack at the Autobahn Country Club, its first taste of serious performance racing after being force fed and fitted with various other racing bits. According to accounts, it performed admirably.
Here are some great photos from the Mid-Ohio Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series which took place this past weekend. The Bimmerworld 328i won the ST class in the Continental Race and the Turner M6 won the GT class in the Rolex Race.
Andy Priaulx claimed his third win of the season in the second race on home soil for his BMW Team RBM based 150km from Circuit Zolder.
Priaulx started from pole position thanks to his eighth place in the opening race. He started from 9th because of costly delay in qualifying, setting his time in the rain.

Le Mans, 13th June 2010. Team BMW Motorsport experienced a turbulent return to the Le Mans 24 Hours. Lady luck did not necessarily smile on the two BMW M3 GT2s. Car number 78, with Jörg Müller (DE), Augusto Farfus (BR) and Uwe Alzen (DE) alternating at the wheel, completed 320 laps to finish sixth in the LM GT2 class in front of 240,000 spectators.
