Congrats to the BMW Rahal Letterman Racing Team as they have now moved into the top of the GT Manufacturer point standings after four rounds of competition in the 2010 ALMS! They were able to do this with a second- and fourth-place GT class finishes in this weekeend’s Utah Grand Prix.
We have reported a few times before on Paul Walker’s supercharged M3 and his love of racing – no, not a quarter mile at a time =) But this is the first good clip which demonstrates his substantial racing skills. Seen here is a race between him and a 650hp Mini CooperS.

The “Green Hell” M3 by IND recently competed in the Redline Time Attack at the Autobahn Country Club, its first taste of serious performance racing after being force fed and fitted with various other racing bits. According to accounts, it performed admirably.
Here are some great photos from the Mid-Ohio Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series which took place this past weekend. The Bimmerworld 328i won the ST class in the Continental Race and the Turner M6 won the GT class in the Rolex Race.
Andy Priaulx claimed his third win of the season in the second race on home soil for his BMW Team RBM based 150km from Circuit Zolder.
Priaulx started from pole position thanks to his eighth place in the opening race. He started from 9th because of costly delay in qualifying, setting his time in the rain.

The motorsport concern is a joint effort by former McLaren engineer Nicholas Galbraith and former Alpina racing designer Andreas Puschel. Together they’re taking the development of the B6 GT1 off Alpina’s hands so that the BMW tuner can focus its energies on its current customer GT3 racing program. Sounds promising.
