The other day I was at the BMW Welt and was kind of shocked to see the new 4er vert on display. Not only that, but there was a lot of interest in how the top folded up and down. I made two videos.

BMW of North America is planning to bring back BMW Films, the pioneering online movie series produced by A-List Hollywood directors/actors that popularized branded content on Madison Avenue more than a decade ago
The first iteration of BMW Films was “The Hire:” a series of eight online films starring Clive Owen as a mysterious-driver-for-hire that were produced for the Internet from 2001-2002.
Running 8-10 minutes apiece, the mini-movies featured Mr. Owen driving BMW models such as the Z4 roadster. The flicks were directed by some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Ang Lee, John Woo, Guy Ritchie and the late John Frankenheimer.

According to Autocar, BMW reportedly has plans for a model portfolio of 30 rear wheel drive and 15 front wheel drive cars. The 15 FWD cars include Mini models, but at least five will be purportedly wear a BMW badge.
The first of these (and only one committed to production thus far) is the 2 Series Active Tourer, which we’ve revealed to you recently by way of spy photos. A seven seat model is expected to arrive later in the year.
BMW’s 3-cylinder turbocharged engine is expected to power most of the Active Tourer models, with a more powerful 4-cylinder 235i model speculated.
While Europe is expected to take the bulk of orders for the 2-series Active Tourer, interest in the model is also reportedly strong … CONTINUED
